The skeleton of a US horse, reportedly mutilated by aliens, is being sold on e-Bay.
Snippy - a 3-year-old mare - hit headlines in 1967 when she died mysteriously in a field in Alamosa, Colorado.
Nellie Lewis' horse had been stripped of skin and flesh but there was no sign of any blood.
Last week, Snippy's skeleton appeared on the internet auction site with a minimum bid of $50,000.
The auction - organised by an attorney handling the estate of local collector Carl Helfin who was in possession of the bones when he died in 2003 - was halted after somebody came forward claiming to be Lewis' relative and the rightful owner of the skeleton.
Every year hundreds of alien enthusiasts travel to the San Luis Valley, where Snippy was found.
