Q-Sensei, the Internet platform for effective searching, browsing and working with information, launches donation drive to collect money for educational projects.
Melbourne, FL, Dezember 1st 2009 – Q-Sensei is launching a donation drive today with the aim of supporting educational projects. The goal is to help smaller educational institutions and projects, which often don’t receive the attention and support they deserve. For this reason, Q-Sensei is dedicating the month of December in 2009 to raising both awareness and funds for their invaluable work.
The choice of which project or institution to support will be made by Q-Sensei’s users themselves. Anyone can suggest a project or institution in their area, be it a school, kindergarten or a library. Once the suggestions have been collected, the three winners of the donation will be chosen through a user vote.
Q-Sensei will be pooling proceeds from
the sale of books through the platform www.qsensei.com to fund the donation drive. Every book purchased automatically contributes to the total sum of the donation, without raising the prize of the books for the users.
“The donation drive is a chance for us to do something charitable together with our users.” says Ute Rother, CEO of Q-Sensei. “Active participation from our users is very important to us. Q-Sensei is a platform where everyone can contribute his own knowledge. We want to maintain this same idea of active participation by inviting our users to suggest educational projects and actively participate in deciding who should receive the donation.”
