Mandatory notification of trade

Reference is made to the announcement from Pronova BioPharma ASA ("Pronova")
today regarding the voluntary offer from BASF to acquire all the shares of
Pronova for NOK 12.50 per share (the "Offer").

Trygve Christian Moe (board member of Pronova) has on 20 November 2012 pre-
accepted the Offer for the 7,000 shares held by him in Pronova. Following a
successful completion of the Offer he will not hold any shares in Pronova.

J&J Future Invest AS, a close associate of Hilde Furberg (board member of
Pronova), has on 20 November 2012 pre-accepted the Offer for the 60,000 shares
held by it in Pronova. Following a successful completion of the Offer Hilde
Furberg and J&J Future Invest AS will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Sverre Magne Sondbø   (board member of Pronova) has on 20 November 2012 pre-
accepted the Offer for the 11,000 shares held by him in Pronova. Following a
successful completion of the Offer he will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Roger Næss (deputy board member) has on 20 November 2012 pre-accepted the Offer
for the 500 shares held by him in Pronova. Following a successful completion of
the Offer he will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Jurs AS a close associate of Morten Jurs (Chief Executive Officer of Pronova)
has on 20 November 2012 pre-accepted the Offer for the 529,375 shares held by it
in Pronova. Following a successful completion of the Offer Morten Jurs and Jurs
AS will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Synne H. Røine (Chief Financial Officer of Pronova) has on 20 November 2012 pre-
accepted the Offer for the 3,500 shares held by her in Pronova. Following a
successful completion of the Offer she will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Maxfield AS, a close associate of Hilde Steineger (Vice President Business
Development of Pronova), has on 20 November 2012 pre-accepted the Offer for the
10,500 shares held by it in Pronova. Following a successful completion of the
Offer Hilde Steineger and Maxfield AS will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Charlotte Berg-Svendesen (Vice President Legal Affairs of Pronova) has on 20
November 2012 pre-accepted the Offer for the 1,000 shares held by her in
Pronova. Following a successful completion of the Offer she will not hold any
shares in Pronova.

Knut Sandvold (Vice President Human Resources of Pronova) has on 20 November
2012 pre-accepted the Offer for the 31,500 shares held by him in Pronova.
Following a successful completion of the Offer he will not hold any shares in
Pronova.

Espelund AS a close associate of Trygve Christophersen (Vice President Supply
Chain of Pronova) has on 20 November 2012 pre-accepted the Offer for the
179,125 shares held by it in Pronova. Following a successful completion of the
Offer Trygve Christophersen and Espelund AS will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Nala Invest AS, a close associate of Hilde Merete Næss (Vice President Quality
Affairs of Pronova), has on 20 November 2012 pre-accepted the Offer for the
99,989 shares held by it in Pronova. Following a successful completion of the
Offer Hilde Merete Næss and Nala Invest AS will not hold any shares in Pronova.
