Notification of large trade/mandatory notification of trade

Reference is made to the announcement from Pronova BioPharma ASA ("Pronova")
today regarding the voluntary offer from BASF to acquire all the shares of
Pronova for NOK 12.50 per share (the "Offer").

Herkules Private Equity (Jersey-I) L.P. has on 20 November 2012 pre-accepted the
Offer for 126,378,281 shares, corresponding to 42.01% of the outstanding shares
in Pronova. The pre-acceptance represents the total holding of shares and rights
to shares held by Herkules Private Equity (Jersey-I) L.P. in Pronova. Following
a successful completion of the Offer Herkules Private Equity (Jersey-I) L.P.,
will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Herkules Private Equity (Jersey-II) L.P. has on 20 November 2012 pre-accepted
the Offer for 24,072,055 shares, corresponding to 8.00% of the outstanding
shares in Pronova. The pre-acceptance represents   the total holding of shares and
rights to shares held by Herkules Private Equity (Jersey-II) L.P. in Pronova.
Following a successful completion of the Offer Herkules Private Equity (Jersey-
II) L.P., will not hold any shares in Pronova.

Herkules Private Equity (Jersey-I) L.P. and Herkules Private Equity (Jersey-II)
L.P. are represented at the board of directors of Pronova.
