Innovators Turn to the Million Dollar Challenge in the Face of the Downturn to Hire in Top Shelf Business Experts

2008-12-03 00:50:01 -

As many big corporations are looking to sit out the recession by reducing costs, innovative smaller businesses are drawing on the latest expert business advice to identify new opportunities emerging from the downturn.
Inevitably, as the full global scale and seriousness of the downturn begins to be felt, many big businesses will respond by cutting costs wherever they can. Expectations of massive job losses are now commonplace as recession begins to bite.
According to business experts, however, many smaller and more innovative businesses are taking a different approach to the downturn. Rather than looking to sit out the recession sustaining minimal damage, these businesses are looking to benefit from new opportunities thrown up by the recession.
Mark Sinclair, Features Editor at online business TV network yourBusinessChannel, says that interest in their premium marketing service has been incredibly strong, a fact that he puts down to businesses looking at new answers to the recession. "Judging by the great businesses which have applied to take part in the Million Dollar Challenge, there are a lot of people out there taking a positive approach to the downturn," says Sinclair.
The Million Dollar Challenge is a new collaborative marketing project, aimed at allowing any business with great growth potential to access expert business advice courtesy of the leading business experts, says Sinclair. The name reflects the scale of some of the targets.
According to Sinclair, many of the businesses applying to participate have a great product, but are in need of input from business experts to realise their full potential. "The great thing about the Million Dollar Challenge is that businesses can access world-beating expert business advice at reasonable cost and very low risk. Challenge participants are charged a fee based on the results they see from the challenge," says Sinclair.
"So the business experts who are contributing ideas to the marketing campaigns are putting their money where their mouth is, and will charge full fee only when there are spectacular results."
The Challenge campaigns draw upon the latest thinking of dozens of top business experts like BNI"s Ivan Misner and Ecademy"s Penny Power.
