Inland Real Estate Auctions, Inc. successfully sells Highland Park, Ill. home for $3 million

The new luxury home was offered via sealed bid on Nov. 19, resulting in a successful sale just six weeks after Inland Real Estate Auctions was engaged to sell the property.
"This is a great example of why the auction process is a solution for sellers at all economic levels," said Paul Rogers, senior vice president and managing broker of Inland Real Estate Auctions. "This is a home that was on the conventional brokerage market for more than two years. We were engaged by the builder but worked very closely with his lender to execute an accelerated marketing campaign, and sold it for an exceptional price."
The 11,612-square-foot, five-bedroom, six-bathroom home, located at 691 Wake Robin Lane in Highland Park, was last listed at $3.4 million. On Dec. 9, Inland Real Estate Auctions will offer another Highland Park home via sealed bid. Located at 180 Ravine Drive, the new 9,000-square-foot home sits on a three-quarter acre, wooded ravine site.
"The property was priced at nearly $4 million, and now the bank says to sell with a minimum bid of $2.45 million," Rogers said.
