FiREapps Appoints New Executive Sales Manager

Schanta brings over 20 years of enterprise treasury software and services sales experience to both corporate and financial services organizations. He will be responsible for U.S. product sales and services for the Western United States.
Schanta has a solid track record of developing strong relationships and has been responsible for driving rapid business growth within software, consulting and finance services organizations.
Schanta previously served as senior executive for Wall Street Systems, with a focus on delivery of integrated enterprise-wide treasury management solutions to corporate and financial industry clients. Some of those clients included The Vanguard Group, Wells Fargo Bank, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and BlackRock Investments.
Prior to Wall Street Systems, Schanta was director of sales & marketing for Thomson Financial Treasury Solutions, in Boston, Mass. There he managed the development and maintenance of all banking relationships in the Americas. TFTS provided complete front, middle and back office business solutions addressing the treasury needs of global commercial banks.
Schanta has served as a vice president and treasury management consultant for the Global Treasury Services Divisions of both Citibank and Bank of America.

Schanta is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. He has completed a variety of advanced programs in business management and marketing through the American Management Association, the IBM Advanced Business Institute and Citibank, New York. He has been a guest speaker at treasury conferences including the New York Cash Exchange (NYCE) and the AFP, formerly the Treasury Management Association (TMA Conference). He was one of the original SWIFT project managers in North America as manager of the International Department of Comerica Bank, Detroit, Mich.
