TDECU Training Department Honored with Coveted WOW Merit Award by the Credit Union National Association

www.tdecu.org - In recognition of its outstanding and innovative training program, TDECU has been awarded the coveted WOW Merit Award by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
The award was presented to TDECU at the seventh annual ELLy Awards held recently in Tempe, Arizona. The ELLy"s (Experience Learning Live Training Awards) were created to recognize the achievements of credit unions in the educational and professional development of their staff.
TDECU was selected for the honor from more than 100 entries submitted in the WOW category by credit unions across the nation.
"We are thrilled to receive this recognition and to have our training department spotlighted nationally for its accomplishments," said Diana Hall, TDECU Vice President of Training.
The WOW Merit Award is presented to the credit union with the best overall training curriculum or event " one that inspires learning, teaches skills that go beyond the classroom, and empowers employees.
TDECU received kudos from award judges for its insightful training practices that have led to other businesses, both in and outside the credit union industry, to seek its expertise in establishing strong training programs. The award judges were composed of a mix of credit union industry training professionals and other training and development industry professionals. TDECU"s training department consists of eight training professionals that train in all areas of the credit union including Teller, Lending, New Accounts, Call Center, Member Service Standards, Supervisor Development, New Employee Orientation, Leadership, Business Communication skills and more.
