Robin Camara Named Vice President of Human Resources & Administration Harvard Business Publishing

She will report to HBP's CEO David Wan and serve on the company's Executive Committee. Ms. Camara succeeds Ms. Toni Smit, who is retiring from the VP of Human Resources & Administration role, after an 18 year career with Harvard Business Publishing.

Ms. Camara has more than 30 years experience as a human resources and administrative services executive in high growth national and international organizations, working much of that time in the financial services sector. She has designed and led human resource strategies and programs for workforces sized 300 to 14,000 employees and served as a key advisor and strategic partner to CEOs and executive colleagues in organizations such as First Marblehead Corporation, Sun Life Financial, First Data Corporation, and American Express Information Services.

At Harvard Business Publishing, Ms. Camara will be responsible for partnering with HBP senior leadership to develop and implement human capital strategies that support and enable the organization's growth globally. She will lead a comprehensive talent development program that enhances and expands organizational capabilities in innovation, new product development, digital publishing and other essential competencies. And, she will also be responsible for directing HBP's Facilities & Administration operations to support HBP's growing organization and workforce.

Ms. Camara will be based in Harvard Business Publishing's headquarters in Watertown, Massachusetts while also directing the company's human resources operations in New York City and Mumbai, India.
