MySpace will promote and syndicate the second season of the 'Blah Girls', with new episodes expected to debut on MySpace early next year in addition to all previous episodes from season one.

The Blah Girls is a comedic, animated, original content series chronicling popular culture from the perspective of self-described gossip queens Tiffany, Britney and Krystle - a trio of teens dedicated to spreading timely gossip and rumor across the Web. Episodes of the Blah Girls range in length between 45 seconds and two minutes. The first season of the Blah Girls launched in early September at the TechCrunch50 conference, when Katalyst Media was selected as a TechCrunch50 finalist. As with all branded channels on MySpace, advertisers will be able to brand the video channel and community.

"When Ashton and I met at TechCrunch50 I knew MySpace should work with Katalyst Media," said MySpace co-founder and CEO Chris DeWolfe. "Blah Girls is great fit for MySpace, as the content is designed for pop culture enthusiasts and mid-older teenagers. We expect the MySpace audience to connect with the Blah Girls, and we look forward to bringing this new Web series to our advertisers--especially brands seeking to reach influencers young and old."

"We are thrilled that the Blah Girls will soon find a home on MySpace," said Ashton Kutcher (www.myspace.com/ashtonkutcher) Katalyst Media co-founder. "Since we launched the first season of the Blah Girls, we have been refining the content and working to find an ideal platform for the property. Given MySpace's passion for entertainment and the company's dedication to bringing original, high quality video to consumers, we are strategically matched with the path MySpace is on to be the Web's leading entertainment destination. The Blah Girls love MySpace."

Localized in more than 30 territories internationally, MySpaceTV (vids.myspace.com) allows users to share and create videos in their own language, discover the most popular and relevant videos in their markets, and connect with other local users. Localized versions of MySpaceTV are available in seven different languages across the France, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Japan, Sweden, Latin America, Denmark, Norway, Finland and the United Kingdom.

The Blah Girls join a roster of partners and original content on MySpaceTV including Special Delivery, Roommates, BBC Worldwide, LonelyGirl15, Sid & Marty Krofft, Banzai, Prom Queen, National Geographic, quarterlife, The New York Times, Atomic Wedgie, HowCast, Expert Village, Sports Illustrated, FOX's IGN Entertainment, TMZ.com, Octane TV, SiTV, and VBS.tv (from the makers of Vice Magazine).
