Health Net Federal Services Develops Guard and Reserve Video to Assist Families During Deployment and Reintegration

2008-11-08 15:36:06 -

www.healthnetfederalservices.com - Health Net Federal Services, LLC (Health Net), the government operations division of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT), today announced the online release of its National Guard and Reserve TRICARE Benefits video to educate National Guard and Reserve members and their families on the health care benefits they are entitled to during the various phases of the member's service.

"In response to the critical role our National Guard and Reserve members have in support of our country, Health Net Federal Services developed this video to educate our National Guard and Reserve families about their health care benefits," said Steve Tough, president, Health Net Federal Services. "It is our duty to ensure our National Guard and Reserve members and their families receive the highest quality care, and are well-equipped and educated to access the benefits they are entitled to receive."

Often National Guard and Reserve members and families live far from military installations, making it difficult to learn about and access their health care benefits and support services. For National Guard and Reserve families, it is crucial to understand their health care benefits, as these benefits change depending on a member's status or phase of deployment.

Health Net Federal Services' informative 20-minute video walks National Guard and Reserve families through TRICARE program eligibility for all phases of service; enrollment instructions; costs for care; dental and pharmacy benefits; and direct links to National Guard and Reserve and TRICARE Web sites.

Health Net Federal Services developed this video to assist all National Guard and Reserve families regardless of the TRICARE region in which they are located. Customer service contact information for each region is provided in the video. The video may be viewed at www.healthnetfederalservices.com.
