Economy didn't seem to be a problem at a recent auction in the Caroline Acres area of Hot Springs, according to lead auctioneer Nick Fowler of Fowler Auctioneers, Inc. Hot Springs, AR --
Everyone was wondering if the Glenwood based auction company could pull this one off being this close to the Presidential Election.
Fowler sold a 2002 Rolls Royce Sliver Seraph for a whopping $93,500.00. Saturday during the auction sale, which might very well be a record price for
any automobile ever sold at an estate auction in the area.
It
also didn't matter that it was at the end of the lake activity season, a party barge was auctioned for $22,000 without a trailer, and the home ended up at $660,000.00. These prices were with the premium added. The furnishings brought fiar market value as well as other personal property at the residence including several guns and several pieces of fine jewelry. Over 250 buyers were on hand for the auction.
"It was a beautiful day, the market was good and everyone enjoyed themselves. "My staff and I worked endless hours marketing and getting this auction ready for our client. It turned out great for the seller and that's what we always want," said Fowler.
