'Plenty of UK brokers now offer access to a range of markets at commissions that make international trading viable for investors of any size, while the internet-driven information explosion has made it far easier to get a thorough understanding of foreign markets and the companies that trade on them,' said an analyst at MoneyWeek.
The report assesses the risks involved with trading abroad and provides an overview of the major markets around the globe. It also contains a section on investments that range beyond shares, which includes bonds, American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), European Depositary Receipts (EDRs) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs, OTC shares, spreadbetting and foreign currency trading.
