The Burnley based ISP won the prestigious award against competition from over 90 renowned companies across the UK. Supanet's Managing Director, Steve Smart, accepted the accolade at Damar's annual award ceremony held in Hazel Grove, Stockport.
"It is an honour to be recognised for our triumphs in the workplace in addition to services we provide the customer." Steve Smart continued: "As Supanet continues to grow we hope to continue to be trusted as a great place to work at and do business with."
Supanet also saw five of its colleagues, Claire McGough, Michael Swift, Lee Birch, Ryan Thomas Fisher, and Tom Holdsworth collect their NVQ qualifications in customer service.
Mr Holdsworth was also named as a runner up in the 'Best Achiever 2008' category, chosen out of 250 candidates.
In addition to their existing recruitment practices, Supanet are currently working with Damar and Connexions to look for recent school leavers as candidates for their new IT apprenticeships NVQ initiative.
Damar's Managing Director, Jonathan Bourne added: "Supanet have wholeheartedly embraced customer service training for staff - the success of this growing programme is down not only to the commitment of individual learners but also the investment made by the whole management team."
