Why "En Fuego!" for this year's theme?

"En Fuego!" means "on fire"; who is more "on fire" than Bellarmine? Our school, our boys, our alumni and especially our Mothers' Guild Fashion Show for Financial Aid! It's the hottest ticket in town! explained Dolores Martinez, 2008 Fashion Show Chair. "So, teenage girls, come out and audition and help us set this year on fire."

Senior girl students from local high schools and Senior Bellarmine boys will be modeling fashions provided by stores from Santana Row and Westfield Shoppingtown Valley Fair: Eli Thomas, Macy's, Jessica McClintock, Club Monaco and Tommy Bahama and Brooks Brothers. Senior girls are invited to audition for modeling roles on Sunday, September 21st from 12:00 to 3:00 pm at the Liccardo Center on the Bellarmine campus. High school girls of any grade level are invited to audition as dancers for professionally choreographed dancing roles on Thursday, September 25th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., in West Liccardo.

This year, women's, men's, and teen's fashions will be presented in two shows on November 21, 2008 at The Fairmont San Jose, first in a luncheon setting and later during a black tie dinner dance.
