- CDW Corporation, a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, today announced that Virginia L Seggerman has joined the company as vice president and controller. She reports to Ann E. Ziegler, senior vice president and chief financial officer.

"Virginia's strong background in accounting and financial management, particularly in a leveraged environment, will make her a valuable contributor here at CDW," Ziegler said. "She has a proven track record of developing highly effective teams and I am certain that our Finance department coworkers will benefit from her leadership."

Most recently, Seggerman served as senior vice president and chief accounting officer at Equity Office Properties Trust in Chicago from 2004 until Equity Office's acquisition by The Blackstone Group in 2007. Throughout her tenure at Equity Office, she was heavily involved in the upgrade of financial systems, process improvement and development of operational performance metrics. Following the acquisition by Blackstone, Seggerman also assumed responsibility for treasury and risk management activities.

Prior to Equity Office, Seggerman served as vice president, corporate controller and principal accounting officer of RR Donnelly & Sons Company in Chicago. She also formerly held positions of increasing responsibility at Packaging Corporation of America and at Arthur Andersen LLP where she began her career.

Seggerman, a certified public accountant, holds a BBA degree in accounting from the College of William & Mary and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
