East Coast based music management company, Shakir Entertainment has
reason to celebrate during this fall season, of 2008. Shakir Entertainment is
home to such talent as: international recording artist, actress & dancer Niki
Haris, who was the "powerhouse" vocalist behind pop superstar Madonna's
biggest hits. Niki Haris has also had HUGE success with the U.K. developed
band Snap, in which she penned several hit singles

such as "Do you see the
light", and "Exterminate". Niki's solo success comes from a mixture of
several genres of music like gospel, dance, pop, jazz and r&b. Niki in 2008
has several new projects in the wings, that will further define her as a force
to be reckoned with. Her new commercial, her new dance single "Bad, bad
boy"(coming in September,08) and she's currently on tour with ol' skool funk,
r&b band "Rufus", the former band that was fronted by the legendary "Chaka
Khan". Also, Shakir Entertainment(Shaun Cairo) is also looking forward to
the premiere of Mtv Logo star and pop sensation Adam Barta's new music
video. Adam Barta is also set to be the second host of Mtv Logo's mainstream
music video show called "Pop Lab", set to air Sept. 3 on the Logo(Mtv) network.
Interscope recording artist "Lady GaGa" is the first to host this new and exciting
show. Adam Barta's new single entitled "Standing in the rain" with Dj Russ
Harris, is also heating up the dancefloors currently, and in heavy rotation on
radio & mixshows in the U.S. Adam Barta will be headlining his own concert
in Davenport IA on Oct. 24, 08 and after that he will be doing radio interviews at
select cities around the nation. This is just a couple of artist(s) on the Shakir
Entertainment roster that are doing very, very well and there is sure to be more
to come.
