Lose Weight Whilst You Sleep - Swiss Scientists discover 'Dieter's Dream'

2008-08-04 15:20:57 - Accidental overdose leads to pursuit and discovery of the "holy grail" for dieters.

It's being described as a 'dieter's dream', the easy way to lose weight without ever feeling hungry. Developed by Swiss scientists after 20 years of research, SensaSlim is an all natural formulation that safely 'fools the brain' into believing you are full and completely removes the desire to eat food, day or night.
An independent free worldwide trial by the Intercontinental Research Institute has now opened for 10,000 over-weight participants, to assess Sensaslim's ability to achieve the claims made by the manufacturers.

In the early 1980's, an Italian dentist made a remarkable discovery quite by accident, which has led 20 years later to the development of what Swiss neuroscientists believe to be the most effective weight loss product available in the world today.

It started with an accidental overdose of novocaine. The dentist had a male patient complaining that the tooth he was drilling was causing him too much pain to continue. The dentist gave his patient a second shot of the analgesic only to be told it was still not effective. Reluctantly, a third painkiller was administered, and whilst this did deaden the pain and allowed the dentist to complete the job at hand, the following day the patient noticed that the numb sensation in his mouth remained.
The dentist referred the patient to a local GP who diagnosed that due to the large dosage administered, some of the novocaine had entered the blood stream beneath the tongue. This had created a numbing of the tongue that was a temporary sensation and was not of any real concern, as it would pass in a week or so.
The patient, who was overweight and renown for his very large appetite, reported an immediate loss of interest in food. In a short period of time the patient had lost a remarkable amount of weight, and stated that he had just stopped thinking about food and did not have any cravings, as he had experienced previously when attempting to lose weight and follow diets. He was so pleased with the results, when the numbing sensation passed, the patient returned to the dentist pleading for a further shot of analgesic.

The GP. correctly determined that the patient had inadvertently had his taste buds desensitised by the analgesic. The question it raised was how this could have such a remarkable effect on his lack of desire for food or cravings. Could it be that the numbing of the taste buds sent a message to the brain that controlled appetite? Scientists believed this could be the 'dieter's dream', the ability to fool the brain into a feeling of fullness and satiety without the calories. The research for the 'holy grail' for dieters had begun.

Over the next two decades teams of scientists from research institutes around the world explored the effects that taste (gustatory response) and smell (olfactory response) had on the brain, with ultimate recognition for their important findings being the awarding of the Noble Prize for Medicine in 2004 .

Sensaslim was developed following this research. Its formulation is made of totally natural ingredients that have been tested and proven safe for prolonged usage by humans.
It is an intra oral spray, which is designed to be sprayed into the mouth and onto the capillaries of the tongue. Being an intra oral spray, the formulation enters the blood stream and goes into effect, according to research published in the highly respected USA medical Journal Physicians Desk Reference , nine times faster than pills.

The taste buds are pleasantly desensitised by a natural herb, oil of clove (Syzygium aromaticum), which acts as a local temporary anaesthetic. This sends a message to the brain that suppresses the appetite, without affecting the central nervous system.
SensaSlim is administered three times a day, 10 minutes before meals. The effect of the formulation is felt immediately and suppression of appetite is swift. There have been no adverse side effects recorded.

'It gives will-power to the weak, making losing weight easy,' says Dr Ciantar, research leader at the Intercontinental Research Institute.

'A person has on average 50,000 thoughts a day, many of those thoughts are related to food, that prompts a call of action to eat.'
'Sensaslim removes the call of action to eat, by fooling the brain into believing that you are full. In simple terms, if you don't think of food, you don't crave food, you don't eat food. The weight just drops off,' Dr. Ciantar said.

'Some trial participants report losing over 1 kilo per day.'

Even better, it keeps working when you sleep. Psychological dream research shows that during the principal dream period, a brain-wave pattern similar to that during wakefulness is evident. The majority of people who are trying to lose weight through conventional diets and calorie counting normally dream of food, reflecting their needs and immediate experiences of food depravation. This creates a food craving that confronts them when they awaken, that regularly leads to them breaking their diet.

'By stimulation of a sensory area in the brain and removing the perception of food deprivation, Sensaslim even gives willpower to a person to lose weight whilst they sleep, making it truly a dieters dream,' Dr Ciantar said.

SensaSlim is not scheduled for release worldwide for general consumer purchase as an over the-counter medicine (OCM) until mid 2010. However over-weight people can participate in the free world wide trial that has just commenced. The Intercontinental Research Institute will act as an independent judge between the manufacturer and the consumer to test the claims made by the Sensaslim developers, and to ensure fairness, truth and accuracy. The worldwide trial will allow for usage by people of a vast diversity of cultures and dietary habits. Unlike other companies whose trial results are obtained in secret ‘closed weigh-in sessions' controlled by the manufacturer, the results in this trial will be obtained by the participant themselves and all results will be posted on the internet for transparency. The trials will be over a minimum of six months to ensure both short and long-term benefits are recorded. The product will be provided to the participants free of charge and no financial benefit will be offered to anyone to partake or to lose weight.

People who are overweight and want to be part of the free trial or want more information can go to www.sensaslim.com.
