RCN Gives Children of One of the Largest Affiliates of Boys & Girls Clubs of America the Chance to Meet Baseball's Elite

Nine children from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington (BGCGW) will take the field at Nationals Park and hold the spots of the starting Nationals players before the first pitch of the Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies game. In addition, the children will receive an official Washington Nationals jersey and the opportunity to meet the Nationals mascot, Screech.
Members of the Richard England Clubhouse #14, Silver Spring, and Hopkins Branches of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, the children, ages 8 - 13 were selected by their local Club as a reward for excelling at one of their Club's summer programs.

As part of a partnership agreement with the Nationals, RCN receives one title night with special benefits.
