Steve Hildebrand With Obama For President Campaign Joins Corporate Speakers At Communitelligence Innovating Employee Engagement Conference in Chicago This Week

The premier conference is bringing together leading communications and HR professionals to share trends, best practices and the latest tools and techniques

for winning the hearts and minds of their workforce in an age of rampant employee disengagement.

Hildebrand is speaking the morning of August 1 on Organizing for Change: A Grassroots Approach to Engagement. Other speakers at the two-day conference include communication experts from organizations including Google, IBM, McDonald's, Lowe's, H&R Block, Navistar, Sabre Holdings, Northwestern Mutual, Spring International, CVS Caremark, Maritz Research and Aon.

The conference includes tracks on understanding, energizing, measuring and the future of employee engagement.

Maril MacDonald, CEO, Gagen MacDonald and President of the Arthur W. Page Society, will present a Day One keynote titled The New Employee Engagement Agenda and Becoming an Architect of Change.

Michael L. Stallard, lead author of the new book, "Fired Up or Burned Out," widely praised book on employee engagement, is delivering a Day 2 keynote on why organizations need a "connection culture," and best practices of organizations that have them.

The conference will also include attendee roundtable brainstorming on 12 key employee engagement topics including how best to deliver negative news to employees, organizing effective town hall meetings, effective internal social media tools and policies, and producing "authentic" employee communications.
