Martek´s product focus is the development of nutritional products derived from microalgae, fungi and other microbes for the treatment of diseases in the area of inflammation, cognitive function and cardiovascular health. It has developed and patented two fermentable strains of microalgae which produce oils rich in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
