TIA Announces Fall 2008 Automotive Tire Service (ATS) and Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Certified Instructor Program Schedule

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced its fall 2008 dates for the Automotive Tire Service (ATS) and Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Certified Instructor Programs

2008-06-25 19:01:26 - The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced its fall 2008 dates for the Automotive Tire Service (ATS) and Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Certified Instructor Programs. Students who successfully complete the Certified Instructor Program are prepared to return to their companies and impart that knowledge to their fellow employees by conducting in-house Certified ATS/CTS Technician or Instructor classes.

Bowie, MD -

The Certified ATS and CTS programs combine in-depth classroom instruction with comprehensive, hands-on education. What are the benefits to technicians and businesses? The CTS program meets the requirements laid out by OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.177, and the ATS program covers every aspect of passenger and light truck service, including lifting, balancing, mounting and de-mounting. Additionally, having TIA-Certified ATS/CTS personnel may allow businesses to qualify for insurance discounts, in addition to being able to market their expertise over competitors to potential customers.

'The TIA CTS and ATS Instructor Programs continue to prove that there is a great demand for training in the industry," said Roy Littlefield, TIA's executive vice president. 'We're not only excited to see the number of ATS and CTS trained technicians and instructors continue to grow; we're also pleased to see the industry recognize how valuable this investment in training and education can be.'
