IINC Available to Discuss Fire Evacuation, Insurance and Recovery

www.iinc.org - As firefighters combat multiple blazes across Northern California, homeowners in hillside and brush areas are reminded of the importance of a family disaster plan.

Homeowners often have only minutes to evacuate, and in a panic may forget critical items such as financial documents, medications and other items.

Those who are not immediately threatened by fire should

also take the time to create a home inventory and family evacuation plan in the event that fire threatens their neighborhood.

Representatives of the Insurance Information Network of California are available to discuss household evacuation planning, fire insurance, California wildfire history and other recovery issues.
