A Polish farmer was forced to spend a night in jail after he was caught drunk while in charge of a horse.
Grzegorz Majewski, 57, had been enjoying a drinking session with friends when traffic police stopped him as he zig-zagged across the street on the animal.
A breath test showed he was six times over the limit for driving. He spent a night in cells to sober up before being hit with a fine of £350.
A police spokesman said: "He said he just wanted a bit of fresh air after drinking with friends at his farm - but he was a serious danger to other road users."
