Webmedx Named 2008 Employer of the Year by Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity

- The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) has named Atlanta-based Webmedx, Inc. its 2008 Employer of the Year marking the second time in three years the company has received this distinction. The selection is given to only one company each year and is among the most prestigious of awards in the industry. Webmedx was chosen for its commitment to

the profession of medical transcription and clinical documentation.

The Employer of the Year award is based on employee submissions from AHDI member companies and is made by an AHDI awards committee. "As an innovator in the marketplace when it comes to workforce development, Webmedx has demonstrated a commitment to improving the quality and credentialing of their documentation specialists," stated Peter Preziosi, AHDI's CEO. "We congratulate Webmedx for their contributions to the medical transcription profession and for achieving this recognition in 2008."
