Online Spanish delicatessen Orce Serrano Hams have finalised their Spanish sausage collection for 2008. The retailer now stocks a comprehensive range of local charcuterie unavailable anywhere else in the UK. Sourced from local butcheries and hand picked producers the selection of gourmet sausage on offer include the famous chorizo as well as some lesser known varieties such as 'Morcon' and 'Sobrasada'

Co Owner Iain Macdonald says, 'The Spanish sausage is almost as famous as the Serrano ham, what we have tried to achieve is a blend of the reliable old chorizo and some of the more unusual sausages - many of which until now have never crossed over to the UK'.

The versatility of the Spanish sausage accompanied with the fact that they are still made locally means some variations are also on offer - an extra hot chorizo for instance, a product made especially for the business with the customer in mind. No vacuum packing is involved, a key aspect says Iain, 'Every product we sell has to be as authentic as it can be, this is why our artisan meats stand out from other mass produced lines designed for export'.
