Foundation Coal Declares Quarterly Dividend of $0.05 Per Share

- The Board of Directors of Foundation Coal Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:FCL) has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share on the company's common stock. The dividend is payable on June 27, 2008 to shareholders of record on June 16, 2008.

Foundation Coal Holdings, Inc., through its affiliates is a major U.S. coal producer with 12 active coal mines and associated processing, loading and shipping facilities in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Through its subsidiaries Foundation Coal employs approximately 3,000 people and produces approximately 72 million tons annually, largely for utilities generating electricity. Foundation's corporate offices are in Linthicum Heights, MD.
