ITT Elects Angela Buonocore and Aris Chicles Senior Vice Presidents

www.itt.com - The Board of Directors of ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) announced today that corporate vice presidents Angela Buonocore, 50, and Aris Chicles, 46, were elected senior vice presidents of the corporation.

Buonocore joined ITT in 2007 and serves as the company's chief communications officer. She is responsible for all aspects of corporate communications, including corporate brand strategy and reputation, public relations, employee communications, corporate philanthropy and government relations. Buonocore joined ITT from The Pepsi Bottling Group where she was vice president of corporate communications. Prior to her 12 years in the PepsiCo system, she spent 11 years at IBM Corporation and five years at General Electric Company, all in corporate communications roles. She holds a bachelor's degree in advertising from the University of Florida.

Chicles, ITT's director of strategy and corporate development, joined the company in 2006. He is responsible for leading ITT's strategic and portfolio planning, and oversees the activities surrounding corporate development and acquisitions. Before joining ITT, Chicles was vice president of corporate business development for American Standard, Inc. Prior to that, he had a 17-year career with Owens Corning. He holds a bachelor's degree from Miami University of Ohio and a master's degree in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
