- New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE: NYB) today announced that its chairman, president, and chief executive officer, Joseph R. Ficalora, will participate in Lehman Brothers' Eleventh Annual Financial Services Conference in London, England, on Tuesday, May 20, 2008.

During his presentation, which is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. British Summer Time (8:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time), Mr. Ficalora will discuss the Company's financial performance and business model, including its focus on multi-family lending, asset quality, efficiency, and its growth-through-acquisition strategy.
