2008-05-10 20:44:51 - Lance Larson has released a special holiday song as a special gift for Mother's Day

Lance Larson, one of the pioneers of the Jersey Shore sound has released a new single that is available for free by electronic download at his web site:

The idea for the song came about after Mr. Larson completed his most recent project Songs for the Soldier, a tribute to the service members and veterans of the Armed Forces. The title song was written for my father, a decorated Marine who fought in WWII in the Pacific. After the project was over, Mr. Larson started thinking "that I never wrote a song for my mom".

As he started reflecting on his relationship with his mother and how important she has been to me. Mr. Larson said, "my mother has been an integral part of my life and has always been there to support me and my music". He started playing his guitar and writing his thoughts into a song. The result was Mother's day. In March, Lance Larson went into the studio and recorded the song.

Mr. Larson said that it was meant as a small gift to his mom for Mother's Day. But after he played the song for a few friends, Mr. Larson was encouraged to release it to all Mothers everywhere.

The song is dedicated to his mom Eugnia and all the mothers who enrich their children's life everywhere.
