| Madonna - not Marilyn Monroe posed in 1992 for her book \'Sex\' and was showing the world, that she certainly has nothing to hide. |

It seems as if Marilyn Monroe is in a love/hate relationship with the press and especially: with people.
They put her up and they put her down the very next moment.
Courtney Love was literally pointing her own fingers at Marilyn Monroe, in an attempt to warn Britney. Warning Britney not to end up like Marilyn Monroe.
The press loved this very disturbing comment, since Ms Love does not seem to be a 'Mother Teresa' herself. The 'I want to be the next Marilyn Monroe contest' continues.
We saw Nicole Kidman, 41, in a very unlike Marilyn Monroe photo shoot. Being stepped out and over--literally, by Lindsay Lohan, 21, in a much more free and provocative 'sitting' with photographer Bert Stern.
Then came the shock: A new and unpublished nude photograph of Marilyn Monroe? We all know how Marilyn was stretching on red velvet for Tom Kelley, often imitated, never reached. So what was behind this early April fools media hoax?
Please read the very interesting article by Marilyn Monroe author Ernest W. Cunningham:

Lawrence Nicastro and his publicist Chris Harris who calls himself officially a Monroe expert, yet does not know how to tell the difference between Marilyn and Madonna--these two men just fooled the press.

But: Chris Harris contacted me at the end of 2007, through my website and we spoke on the phone as well. I told him that the person on the photograph is not Marilyn Monroe, but Madonna, after he described the image to me over the phone. He refused to send me a scan.
He insisted that it was Marilyn Monroe and that was the last thing I heard from this man.
But we certainly will hear more bogus stories, connected to Marilyn Monroe.
Mark Bellinghaus, 44, was named expert witness, after he contested, challenged and stopped the biggest exhibition fraud in recorded history. The Queen Mary Marilyn Monroe class action lawsuit took place in 2006/2007.
