Big improvement on the snow conditions with all of the fresh snow from yesterdays storm. We were able to open up some more terrain on Thunder Mtn and the skiing is
lots of fun, today was lots of fun for snowboarders as the snow conditions warranted a big surface area to stand on, or some really fat skiis.
Tomorrow we will be open, at 8am, for skiing and snowboarding on lifts #2 and #3 as well as scenic rides to the Top of the Notch restaurant and snow tubing, with the first session at 9am.
The forecast for this weekend calls for sunny skies and highs in the 40's, there is a chance for the winds to kick up Saturday night but we dont anticipate that to affect our operations.
We are making snow on Thunder Mtn and will continue as the weather and temps allow us to.(Wed, Feb 20, 08:22PM)
We will be open first thing in the morning (Thursday) with 11 to 15 inches of untouched snow. Since the winds blew so hard today we were unable to operate lift #3 which means it'll be waiting for you tomorrow. Winds are forecast to be light with temps in the low 30's keeping the snow nice and fluffy. Look for partly sunny skies and a really fun day enjoying the most snow we have had this year.
We will be open for skiing and snowboarding on lifts #2 and #3 as well scenic rides to the Top of the Notch restaurant and snow tubing.
The forecast this weekend is looking epic as well with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 40's
