Honorees will be Raphael E. Pollock, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S., Professor of Surgical Oncology and Professor of Molecular and Cellular Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, who will be presented with Aishel House's "Rofeh Yedid ('physician and friend') Award" and Joan Krafcheck Reichstein, volunteer extraordinaire, a native Houstonian and travel consultant, will be presented with the

“Volunteer of the Year Award”.

Proceeds benefit Aishel House in providing accommodations and a wide range of critical support services to patients and their families, from Houston or out-of-town, who come to the Texas Medical Center. From transportation and warm meals to comfortable accommodations, child-care assistance, and personal counseling, Aishel House, a home away from home, offers a helping hand to all.
