Underground party innovators THE PLAYGROUND, present one of the most anticipated album release parties of the year. In a secret warehouse location, French electro maestro KAVINSKY will present London with his debut album ‘Outrun’ on Saturday 2nd March 2013. This will be the iconic producer’s

exclusive London show to support the release, with SPECIAL GUESTS supporting him into the early hours of the morning.

â–ș After releasing three EP’s through the Record Makers label, KAVINSKY has emerged as one of the biggest artists of the French electro scene. Following up from the hugely successful ‘Nightcall’, ‘Outrun’ gives fans a true reflection of KAVINSKY’s works. Not an easy track to follow though, with over 30 million total plays, ‘Nightcall’ successfully smashed its way up the French sales and airplay charts. Produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of DAFT PUNK, ‘Nightcall’ is most known for its use in the title sequence of hit neo-noir crime film Drive.

â–șWith just six singles to his name after 7 years, KAVINSKY has proven he isn’t the type to rush anything. ‘Outrun’ is described as a concept album of sorts, and with his slow and sinister beats, KAVINSKY delivers a true thriller of a record. ‘Outrun’, was produced by French DJ/producer SEBASTIAN, released in the UK on Mercury Records with launch party on 2nd March at a secret warehouse location in London to be announced soon.
