2013-01-17 14:42:46 - fluid Operations and ProXML, a consulting company offering a complete range of services for both creating and consuming Linked Data, today announced that they have entered into a resell agreement.

Walldorf/Baden, Germany – fluid Operations, the leading provider of cloud and data management solutions based on semantic technologies, and ProXML, a Belgium-based consulting company offering a complete range of services for both creating and consuming Linked Data, today announced that they have entered into a resell agreement. The agreement will see ProXML include the Information Workbench® from fluid Operations in

its extensive set of services and solutions including creating, curating, linking and storing data, as well as inferring new data and presenting Linked Data. Additionally, ProXML will provide consulting and implementation support for Information Workbench customers in Belgium.

“The Information Workbench is a highly customizable platform for Linked Data and Big Data management and solution development. This includes support for the semantic integration of heterogeneous data sources – regardless of the format and author – across the borders of individual domains, collaborative knowledge acquisition and augmentation, semantic search, business intelligence and analytics, as well as data visualization and exploration. The Information Workbench fits perfectly into our solution portfolio”, said Paul Hermans, owner of ProXML. “Our customers mainly include libraries, museums, archives as well as public institutions and companies dealing with data integration. The Information Workbench allows our customers to rapidly develop individual Linked Data solutions. The platform semantically integrates and correlates information from heterogeneous data sources in a central place. Using a Self-Service portal it provides the user with a unified view on company internal and external data sources. In addition, the platform supports improved search and visualization, the exploration of global Linked Open Data Registries as well as the integration of relevant data sets on-demand”, added Hermans.
“We are very happy to have ProXML on board as a resell partner. ProXML will help us expand the reach of our solutions in Belgium. Using the Information Workbench will enable them to deal with information in an innovative way and to initiate a paradigm shift in data management,” said Thomas Kucher, Strategic Sales Executive Channel/Distribution at fluid Operations.
