Hyderabad, January 10th, 2013: Mahesh Bhatt, the celebrated Bollywood film director visited India’s Premier Film School, Annapurna International School of Film + Media (AISFM) and interacted with the students at the school campus today.
This is the first time that the celebrated Director has visited the film school and he interacted at length with the faculty and students, who were
excited to get an insider view of Mahesh Bhatt’s film ideology. The discerning director was given an overview of the film school’s international standard curriculum and state of the art classrooms by the faculty of AISFM and later Bhatt himself conducted a master class for the students.
Mahesh Bhatt started the session by discussing about the technical aspects of filmmaking, optimal use of latest technology, cinematography and Direction and screenplay writing. Famous for his unconventional & unique MacGauffins, Bhatt discussed about the importance of the creating a premise that would appeal to their target audience and stressed that striving for perfection in all the aspects makes or breaks a movie.
The students of AISFM were enthralled to be a part of the master class conducted by the veteran director. It was an exciting and a great learning experience for the students, who had umpteen queries about his experiences as a Director, Producer & Screenplay writer. Bhatt ended the session by advising the students on how to build a career in the film and media industry.

Mahesh Bhatt is a prominent Indian film director, producer and screenwriter who created acclaimed movies Jism, Murder and Woh Lamhe. Bhatt is known for making both art films with realistic topics and commercial films which include a wide division of action, comedies and thrillers.
