Factrichi 100 Varsh recalls the Best Bad Boys of Bollywood only on IBN-Lokmat

. Some of the most prominent actors have portrayed a memorable negative role leaving a mark of the character. Even though they are the most hated among the masses there dirtier dialogues and roles leaves a lasting impressions of “Bad Boys” of Bollywood in one’s minds. Many top-notch villains have been a craze among youngsters with huge fan following whose

characters are bigger than the film itself. Character like Gabar Singh, Mogambo, Shakaal, and Maharani to name a few had created a terror in 90’s era. Some of the best on-screen performances was from movies like Sholay where in Amjad Khan’s character as an Indian dacoit created history in Indian cinema and even today it is remembered as one of his magnificent performances. Kalicharan and Zanjeer was another cult film which made Ajit a house-hold name, both the movies was a box office hit and Ajit gained the status for his cold blooded performance. Another name which one cannot ignore is of Danny Denzongpa who made his mark in the negative role in the movies like Krantiveer, Ghatak, Gayal & Khoram in early 90’s. Amrish Puri was one another most powerful actor who established his image among villain in Indian film industry. He essayed the grey character so naturally that his performance and dialogues “Mogambo kush Hua” is still referred more than the movie even after the film released 25 years ago. Pran was another phenomenal actor among these legends.
In recent years villains have been bred apart, they are handsome, young, cold blooded actors like Manoj Bajpai, Prakash Raj, Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover to name a few.
