In a rare “no contact” situation, one subscriber’s story shows why the range of your medical alert system and a great team of emergency responders make all the difference.

Medical alert provider Rescue Alert of California™ announced today the release of another story from their call center. In this story, an emergency response team arrived at the subscriber’s home, and could not find the individual inside.

Responders thought the call was an accidental activation, but the call center reported that the alert button was still being pressed. Rescue Alert of

California’s™ medical alert button has a signal range of up to 1,000 feet, which extended beyond the subscriber’s house into her yard. Emergency responders, upon suggestion of the call center, then searched the property, and eventually found the subscriber and were able to pull her out of the window well she had fallen into while reaching for a misplaced garden tool.

Rescue Alert of California’s™ emergency response center works 24 hours a day in order to make themselves available to subscribers in the event an emergency happens. Emergencies don’t always happen inside the home, which is why an extended signal range is important.
