Luka Hajdini's Rhythm of Wonder at Agora Gallery

Luka Hajdini-Magic Souls
2012-12-12 14:39:45 - NEW YORK, NY – Chelsea’s Agora Gallery will feature the creations of Italian artist Luka Hajdini in The Odyssey Within

The broad depth and color of Luka Hajdini’s paintings is illuminated by a spiritual light, as the artist depicts a visual dance between reality and the inner dreamscapes of her mind’s eye, a reflective journey of the soul which also references shared human experiences. A passionate musician as well as an artist, Hajdini's gifts are joined together in her paintings,

inspiring a uniquely harmonious rhythm in her work as she creates a rich and melodic dialog in figural abstraction, immersed in the motion of spectral flames and fractured waves of glowing mist. As she works in oil paints on canvas, Hajdini discovers an expressive surrealism within her imagination, expressed in silken smooth brushstrokes and airy layers of luminous hue.
Born in Albania to a very musical family, Luka Hajdini gained recognition for her singing as a finalist on a musical talent show. She now lives in Italy where she is a student at the Fine Art Academy of Lecce.

About the Exhibition
In The Odyssey Within viewers are introduced to art that takes the power of tradition and melds it with the thrilling novelty of the present. Charming, thought-provoking and intelligent, this is art with the ability to inspire. Pathway to Abstraction explores the force and creativity that consummate skill offers when combined with a feeling of daring and innovation. Lively, lovely and full of energy, the art contains both breadth and depth in terms of both content and technique. The artists of Sensorial Realms sensitively investigate the complex layers of human thought and imagination, yet remain carefully rooted in the physical world.
