British Gas Offers One Month Free Boiler Insurance Cover

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 11/11/09 -- British Gas is offering one month's free boiler insurance : www.energychoices.co.uk/boiler-insurance.html cover for customers who join before 31st December 2009, in an effort to sign more new households up to its HomeCare services before winter sets in.



The HomeCare packages offer unlimited free call-outs for boiler repair, an annual service by qualified British Gas engineers, and 24-hour helpline access. All parts and labour are included, and it's available from Pounds Sterling 13 a month.



The monthly amount charged for HomeCare cover differs according to the level of cover you need, whether you're a new or existing customer, and whether you live within or outside of the M25. Homes within the M25 may be more expensive to insure.



The more comprehensive levels of cover are available if you want to cover your radiators, plumbing and electrics as well. HomeCare 400, which covers all of these, is available from Pounds Sterling 27 a month for new customers. Each package offers a month of free cover.



The month of free HomeCare cover is only available to customers who sign a 12-month contract and pay by Direct Debit: the first month of cover won't be charged for. However, if the contract is cancelled before the end of the 12-month period, British Gas will charge for the free month.
