Flux Power Names EV Specialist and Pinball Wizard Joseph S. Gottlieb as CTO

Joseph brings with him years of product development knowledge, EV expertise, and a heritage of innovative electronic design via the pinball industry.

Joseph brings to Flux Power a master's in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in advanced control systems and microelectronics from Northern Illinois University and years of product development experience from companies such as Conexant Systems, Fairchild Semiconductor, and his own Gottlieb Inventions Inc. He holds several patents on microelectronic devices and is an expert on microcontroller implementations, firmware programming and power system design.

In addition to his work experience, Joseph gained valuable exposure to many microelectronic and control system firsts through his grandfather’s successful pinball business D. Gottlieb & Co. With this knowledge he also became one of the best pinball players in the world and is still an avid player. When he’s not playing pinball in his spare time, he is the President of the San Diego Electric Vehicle Association, holding an NEDRA World Record for fastest production 3-wheeler in a 1/8^th mile run. He is also an amateur radio operator, devoted volunteer for the San Diego Sheriff’s Department, and pianist.
