2009-11-09 16:15:38 -
The volunteer recognition series is now accepting nominations to select volunteers from three different non-profit organizations. Kelly E. Capolino PA, one of Coldwell Banker’s top producing real estate professionals, will be presenting the 2010 “Diamond Volunteer Program” during the months of January, February, and March. The program will seek to honor the volunteers of three different non-profit organizations involved in maintaining and improving the quality of life in our community through their volunteer efforts.
“I
would like to show support and thank some of the various non-profits that strive to improve all aspects of life in our area,” says Capolino. “I know there are other programs that give volunteers recognition but I just wanted to do something special this year. I know that when I volunteer for non-profits it is always nice to be thanked or recognized – so I want to say thank you with a THANK YOU reception for three special groups this year.”
The volunteers of three organizations will be honored this season with a personal cocktail reception given for each group. The Diamond Volunteers award will include a reception for 25 of the organization’s volunteers, a radio interview, press coverage, and a framed award.
Non-profit organizations working to have a positive impact in the community that are interested in being chosen should email: a short statement about their organization, which volunteers would be honored (i.e. – board members, special events volunteers, etc.), and why they would like to honor their volunteers in this way. Statements should be limited to one page and emailed to
DiamondVolunteers@gmail.com before December 10th.
Winners will be selected by a panel and notified on or before December 15th. Receptions will be held on January 14, February 25 and March 11 of 2010. One group will be honored on each of these dates.
