Dr Conrad Smiling Face Hides

2009-08-04 07:23:41 - Behind the easy going smile on Michael Jackson’s personal doctor’s face looks an entirely different person?

Jackson’s personal physician and cardiologist, Dr Conrad Murray Michael has an easy winning smile that most people would be happy to trust. The kind of person you would feel confident trusting your life to.

When authorities raided the offices of Dr Murray, however, the investigation into the events surrounding Michael Jackson’s death, took a dramatic turn. The King of Pop’s death

would seem to be escalating into a manslaughter case.

‘Manslaughter’, ‘prescribing to an addict’, ‘excessive prescribing’, ‘excess treatment or prescribing’ and ‘unprofessional conduct’ are the potential charges on the police warrant. However no one is certain whether or not Murray faces charges of manslaughter. Murray has admitted to administering the powerful anesthetic propos to Jackson on the day he died. Manslaughter however, requires proof that there was a reckless action leading to death, or grievous bodily harm.

Many of the toxicology results are still not back and the D.A.’s office has not yet commenced its formal investigation.

It is widely known that the drug profol can repress breathing and lower the heart rate and blood pressure and must be administered by a trained expert who continues to monitor the patient. Usually this is a procedure for a hospital operating theater only.

Dr Murray’s cherry bright smiling face hides a very different kind of person than what is first evident. Like his boss, Jackson, who paid Murray a monthly salary of $150,000, both men were drowning in debt. Murray is a long time debt evader and on the brink of losing his expensive Las Vegas home.

A number of law suits and court judgements have come to light against Murray, following Jackson’s death, including tax liens filed against him between 1993 and 2003. There are non-payments of child support, as well as an outstanding loan of $71,000 from Murray’s medical student days.

A Houston hospital suspended Murray for allegedly not completing medical records in time. He was employed by Jackson after Murray attended a minor undisclosed illness of one of Jackson’s children in 2006.

Murray was charged in 1994with domestic violence. Although the case went to trial Murray was ultimately acquitted.
