2009-06-29 18:50:04 -

LIMA, Peru (AP) - Peruvian authorities say at least 110 people have been hurt _ 10 of them seriously _ in the collapse of wooden stands at a bullfighting arena in a northern jungle town.
Dr. Jose Parravicino is director of the hospital in the stricken town of Nueva Cajamarca.
He says the badly injured had multiple fractures and were transferred to bigger hospitals because his only has 18 beds.
Authorities say Nueva Cajamarca was celebrating its 35th anniversary with a bullfighting festival when stands bearing 400 people collapsed on Sunday.
