Carahsoft Awarded U.S. DoD Enterprise Software Initiative Contract for Open Source Solutions
Five-Year Blanket Purchase Agreement Streamlines Procurement of Red Hat, JBoss, MySQL, Alfresco, Pentaho and CollabNet Products

RESTON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/17/09 -- Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, today announced that it has been awarded a U.S. Department of Defense ESI Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Open Source Solutions. The contract encompasses software and support services from Red Hat, JBoss, Alfresco, Pentaho, MySQL, and CollabNet.

Through the five-year contract, Carahsoft and its authorized reseller partners will provide the DoD with open source technologies ranging from operating systems, middleware, and database technologies, to collaboration, content management, and business intelligence software.
