Britain's Princess Michael of Kent has denied rumours her husband Prince Michael of Kent, 66, is having an affair with a 36-year-old woman. The princess' decision to put a stop to the rumours comes after a US website romantically linked Prince Michael to Marianne Krex after they were photographed going to a ballet performance at the London Coliseum last week. David Patrick Columbia, who wrote the article on the New York Social Diary website, told Britain's Daily Mail reporter Richard Kay: "Princess Michael emailed me on Tuesday (05.08.08) to say she felt my article was ?very nasty' and she specifically said she was unhappy about my mentioning Marianne Krex's trip to the ballet with Prince Michael. "She says it was she who suggested the Prince should take Marianne because she couldn't go." The affair rumours were further fuelled when photographs emerged of Danish-born Marianne covering her face with her jacket to hide from photographers as she left the Coliseum with Prince Michael.
