Britain's Prince Charles was reduced to fits of giggles when his kilt was blown up by a forceful wind as he watched the Mey Highland Games in Scotland on Saturday (09.08.08). The 59-year-old royal found himself victim of the particularly vicious winds in the north of the country as he watched the sports with wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, while wearing a traditional Scottish kilt, a type of tartan skirt for men. As he attempted to pin the flyaway kilt down to conceal his modesty, Camilla struggled to stop laughing, and soon Prince Charles was giggling too. The wind wasn't the only problem Charles had to cope with over the weekend. His judging of the tug-of-war contest had to be cancelled after organisers forgot to bring a rope. Charles and Camilla have been staying at the Castle of Mey, one of the homes of the late Queen Mother - Charles' grandmother - during their time in the area. On Friday (08.08.08), Charles unveiled a memorial bench in honour of his grandmother at the castle.
