Prime Force develops new User Management tool for Adobe AEM/CQ5

Print article Print article
2014-03-18 12:22:53 - In Content Management Systems (CMS), User Management makes it clear who may or may not do something. It ensures secure management and processing of websites. So far so good, yet there are times when one loses sight of things.

Administer user accounts more easily

With the AEM/CQ5 with integrated User Manager, Adobe allows you to set permissions for individual users or groups quickly and easily. However, it is not possible to generate an overview of all permissions. With a large number of users and groups, no overview can quickly mean no security for Internet or Intranet pages.

The application developed by Prime Force gives persons responsible an up-to-date overview at any time. With this tool, you can produce Excel sheets which clearly show who has access to what and what rights each individual in a department or specialist area possesses. The tool can easily be installed in WCMS and CM systems and can be configured in any manner, i.e. it allows

any particular paths, user groups or permissions to be called up. It provides a complete overview of all legal permissions on each server.
