Project management is centralized within a single console, allowing administrators to schedule migrations when convenient for the organization, manage multiple migration jobs, and to execute bulk migrations to speed up the process.
With data movement on this scale, data integrity is a key concern. Public Folder Migration Manager allows Content restrictions to migrating folders to clean up and restrict the data that is migrated to the new target environment.
A new option for IT with this release is the ability to migrate Exchange Public Folders to the file system. Customers can choose to migrate public folders to the file system; maintaining folder structure, permissions, and content or elect a split migration. In a spilt migration scenario, customers move only relevant content to the target Exchange environment and less relevant content to the file system during a single migration operation. Once public folder content is in the file system, it can be used directly by end users or consumed by document management or archiving systems.
