De Bilt, 28 February 2013 - Grontmij N.V. a listed consulting & engineering
company with strong European presence, today announces the appointment of Jeroen
van der Neut (38) as Country Managing Director (CMD) of Grontmij Sweden. Jeroen
van der Neut, currently Manager Strategy Development at Grontmij Group, will
take up his new appointment per 1 March 2013. He succeeds Leif Bertilsson who
has been CMD of Grontmij Sweden since 2010.
Jeroen van der Neut, currently Manager Strategy Development, has been
instrumental in the implementation of the 'Back on Track' strategy. He has been
working at Grontmij for a total of 13 years in various positions amongst others
as company secretary, commercial director Real Estate, and managing director of
Given the disappointing results in 2012, Leif Bertilsson has decided, in
consultation with the Executive Board, to step down as CMD of Grontmij Sweden.
He will take up the role of commercial director and will report to Jeroen van
Michiel Jaski, CEO of Grontmij N.V.: 'I am very pleased that Jeroen van der Neut
has agreed to take on the CMD role in Sweden. He has the right credentials to
lead the Swedish Grontmij business with his strong focus on operational
performance. I have respect for Leif's decision to step down and am glad that he
